My name is Jana and I am a coach, a mother, a partner and a keen surfer, living in the beautiful New Zealand. I have dedicated my career to helping women in midlife achieve optimal health through movement and exercise.

I love challenging the status quo. I have discovered that we, women, need to trust our inner intuition and move in a way that brings us physical benefits without stressing our delicate hormones and nervous systems. Our WHY for exercising should be our health, well-being and feeling good rather than trying to attain physical shapes dictated to us by others. We are all beautiful, in our own way and exercise only enhances this beauty; giving us energy, resilience and a path to ageing well.

I want to be able to do the things I love until I am very old without injuries or the physical decline ageing brings for some people. My aspiration is to be an old grandma surfing everyday and I need to look after my body in a way that allows me to do that. And I want the same for you!

I will show you that there is a simpler way to exercise which is so effective in increasing your physical conditioning and which is sustainable long term. Rather than giving you a quick result, I will give you a blueprint to long lasting superior physical health.

I love my chosen profession; for me it is more than just a job, it is a passion, vocation and a calling.

You have been doing workouts that are not designed for a woman in your stage of life? Or you had a coach who just didn't understand your changing needs. 

There is prevailing practice in the fitness industry of training women as small men. I have years of experience in training women, specifically in midlife. Women are very different to men and we need to be trained in a way that won't stress our hormones and nervous system. I am also a woman in my 40s so I understand our training and recovery needs, especially as we approach perimenopause and menopause.
My philosophy is to meet clients where they are and slowly build their skills and abilities.

Do you feel like yoga and walking are not quite enough but CrossFit is a bit much?
While yoga and walking are fantastic (and I love both), it is not quite enough to stress your body in a good way; your muscles, bones and tendons. CrossFit, on the other hand, doesn't really suit the average woman in midlife.
The Midlife Movement is the perfect blend between those activities. You will get fitter and stronger, stress the bones in the just right way, tone all your muscles and get your heart pumping just enough. But without exercising at those unsafe intensities and without the injuries.
Once in perimenopause and menopause, we actually need to lower the intensity of exercise and to exercise according to our stress levels. Punishing your already stressed and sleep deprived body at the gym will have the opposite effect - more weight gain and stress!

TAKE A PEEK INSIDE THE PROGRAMME

Each module contains mobility warm up, bodyweight exercises, one or two flows and stretches.

Warm up/mobility

Your training sessions will always start with mobility movements which will warm up your joints, increase the range of motion in your joints, remove stiffness and reduce pain and discomfort. Each module contains between 7-10 mobility movements.

 

Movements/exercises

In each module, you will learn between 5-7 bodyweight movements. These are designed to help your muscles get fitter and stronger and to get your heart rate up. Some movements will have simpler versions for beginners as I would like to learn the basics of the movement and then build on it. You can watch and learn these movements in the movement library or use the 'Follow me' videos.

 

The Flow

The flow is where you string all the individual movements you have mastered into one continuous fluid flow. Some modules have an easier flow and a more advanced one. I will coach you step by step into these flows and again, I include modifications for beginners and extensions for the advanced.

I'm not sure what I need to put into my offer to launch.

How will you ensure we're ready to go?

I've been there, done that, and man oh man, got the t-shirt to boot!
I wont lie to you. Launching a tiny offer is hard work.
I had someone walk me through it I would not have gone through all the false starts to get my funnel to be where it is today. (Did I mention it converts at 6% and the industry standard is between 1-5%?)

How will I know how quickly it will sell?

In short - you won't, BUT ... we will go through a thorough validation cycle for your offer to ensure people want it and will tweak it until it's at it's best so we can launch. I wont let you launch something that is not irresistible.
